Log Activity
Log Activity enables you to log the activity of replacing an existing part or installing a new part.
Steps:
1). Open the work item for which you want to log activity.
2). On the toolbar and on the Log menu, click
Activity.
3). The Logged By and at: fields display the logged in user and current time respectively. This data is read only.
4). In the Activity Date field, enter the date and time at which you want to log activity for current case.
5). In the Activity Code field, select the type of activity you want to log.
6). In the Site Asset field, enter the desired site asset or click Search to search for the desired site asset on which you want to perform the selected activity.
7). The Asset Tag field enter the asset tag if required.
8). From the Component Part, that you want to install under the selected Site Asset.
9). From the Quantity dropdown list, enter the number of parts on which you are performing the activity.
10). In the Notes text box, enter data that can be shared with customer.
11). On the toolbar, click:
a). Save to save the activity log you have just created.
b). Cancel if you do not want to save the Log Activity you have just created.
