Order Part(FE)

Order Part (FE) enables field techs (FEs) to order parts directly in the field.

Steps:

1). Open the work item for which you want to order part as an FE.

2). On the toolbar and on the Log menu, click Order Part (FE).

3). In the Order Parts window, and in the Order Parts expander, the Logged By and at: fields display the logged in user and current time respectively. This data is read only.

4). From the Order Type and Priority dropdown lists, select desired order type and delivery priority respectively.

5). From the Ship Via dropdown list, select the desired shipping service.

6). From the Destination Location dropdown list, select the type of address to ship the ordered part.

7). In the Required Date* field, enter the date on which the ordered part should be delivered.

8). In the Special Instructions field, enter special instructions if required.

9). Set the Category code for the ordered part for categorizing the ordered part.

10). In the Line Items expander, and on the toolbar, click Add Part to add a new part to the order.

11). In the Part Number field, enter desired part using advanced field search. As a more user-friendly filter field column, when you search for a specific term by entering 4 letters or more, the grid lists the results that match the term.

12). In the Quantity field, enter the count of the selected part.

13). To add more parts, click Add Part and select the desired part.

14). To remove part(s) from the list, check the desired part records and on the toolbar, click Remove Part.

15). On the toolbar, click:

a). Save to save the Part Orderlog you have just created.

b). Cancel if you do not want to save the Order Part (FE) you have just created.
