Order Part
Order Part enables you to log an instance of creating a new Part Order.
Steps:
1). Open the work item for which you want to order part.
2). On the toolbar and on the Log menu, click
Order Part.
3). In the Part Order form, and in the Details tab, under Information expander, create Part Order Header.
a). The Site, Status, Case/WO ID, Contact fields display default data automatically. You can edit data if required.
b). From the Part Order Type field dropdown list, select appropriate option based on the type of part order that you want to create.
c). In the Category field, select appropriate category code.
d). From the Priority dropdown list, select desired delivery priority for part order
4). On the toolbar, click Save. The Part Order ID field, and Create Date fields display the ID and create date respectively.
5). Under Line Items expander, create Part Order Line Item.
6). On the toolbar, click Save.
