Close Workflow Item

You can close the case/ work order once an issue is resolved. Before you close a case/work order, you should ensure that all the workflow items associated to case (i.e. work order/part order/subcase) are closed.

Steps:
  1. Open the desired workflow item that you want to close.

  2. Ensure that work items associated to case (i.e. work order/part order/subcase) or work order (i.e. part orders) are closed.

  3. On the tab bar, click Close.

  4. In the Close form, and from the Resolution Code* dropdown list, select the desired resolution code that best suits for closing the workflow item.

  5. From the Status dropdown list, select the desired status for workflow item.

  6. The Close Date field automatically displays current date and time details at which you are closing the case. However, you can edit the details if required.

  7. In the Notes text box, describe in brief (if any) about current workflow item.

  8. On the tab bar of the Close form, click Save.
