Price Books Settings

Price Books within GoServicePro can be used to help setup labor rates for Standard, Overtime, and Holiday charges, Travel charges, Expense and Part markups, Minimum Billings, and Tax rates. Different Price Books tell you how much you will be getting paid for specific jobs, and what you will charge for them in the future.

Steps:
  1. To navigate to Price Books-Settings, on the left pane menu, click Settings and then under Billing Settings, click Price Books.

  2. In the left panel, select desired price book so that the right pane displays multiple tabs such as Labor, Travel, Expenses, Parts, Employee Types, Minimum Billing Settings, Tax, and Discount Factors, with details in context to the selected price book.

  3. To export the listing grid display results, click Export to Excel button and then save the Excel file to desired location.

  4. To filter the search results, in the search bar, type the keyword and then click Search button.

  5. To clear the filter results/search results, beside Search field, click Clear button.

  6. To create a new filter:

    1. In the Search bar, type the keyword to display search results in the listing grid.

    2. Click Filter button and then in the dropdown menu, Click New Filter button.

    3. In the text field, enter the filter name and then click Save Filter.

  7. To delete existing filter:

    1. Click Filter button and then from the dropdown menu, select the filter that you want to delete.

    2. Click Delete Filter button.

  8. To Create New Price Book:

    1. On the toolbar, click Add New button.

    2. In the snippet, and in the Name* and Description* fields, enter the name and description for price book.

    3. From the Price Schedule lookup dropdown, select the desired price schedule that you want to associate to current price book.

    4. To activate the price book, enable Active so that the price book will be ready for use.

    5. In the Event Charge field, enter the desired amount so that the charge will be considered during billing.

    6. Click Save.

  9. To edit Price Book:

    1. From the Price Books-listing grid, select the desired price book that you want to edit and then, on the toolbar, click Edit.

    2. In the Price Books snippet, edit the desired details and then click Save.

  10. To delete Price Book:

    1. From the Price Books-listing grid, select the desired Price Book that you want to delete and then, on the toolbar, click Delete
