Contact Form

A Contact form displays required information in 2-panel format. The left panel allows you to keep a track of contact information, contact’s location, primary site and additional sites. All contacts are tied to at least one site, which is the actual location. On the other hand, the right panel allows you to keep a record of and as well as log activities against the contact, such as emails, notes, and phone calls. You can also create a new contact.

Contact Form – Left Panel:
  1. To close the contact, in the left panel, under General and on the toolbar, click Close Contact and then in the confirmation message box, click OK.

  2. To reopen a closed contact, in the left panel, under General and on the toolbar, click Reopen Contact and then in the confirmation message box, click OK.

  3. To add a Web User Account to the contact, click Web User button and then enter user name, password and confirm password details.

  4. To add additional site to contact, under Additional Sites, click Add Additional Site and then from the lookup, select desired site and click Save Additional Site.

  5. To add primary account to contact, under Accounts, and from the Primary Account lookup, select the desired account and then click Save.

  6. To add other account to contact, under Accounts, and from the Add Other Account lookup, select the desired account and then click Save.

  7. To add an alert to contact, under Alerts, click New Alert and then enter title, alert text, and alert validity dates. If the alert is urgent, enable Urgent, and then click Save.

Contact Form – Right Panel:
  1. The right panel displays a news feed of all the activities/transactions performed on the contact so far.

  2. To perform a log activity, from the Log dropdown menu, select the desired option and then enter required information. The resulting activity record will be added to the Activity news feed.

  3. To perform any action on the item in Activity news feed, click on Show More link of the respective activity and then perform the desired action. The resulting new activity will be added to the Activity news feed.

  4. To create a new contact, click New Contact button and then enter required data in all the fields.
