Create New Employee

Creating an employee in GoServicePro system enables you to record pertinent information such as name, location, workgroup, manager, etc. You can assign security roles to an employee to determine the level of access an employee has to various functions in the system.

Steps:
  1. On the New menu, click Employee or expand My Lists, select Employees and then on the top left corner of the page, click New Employee.

  2. In the New Employee form and in the User Name* field, enter the name for the new site.

  3. In the First Name*, Last Name* and Email* fields, enter the first name, last name and email address details of the employee respectively.

  4. From the Category* dropdown list, select the desired categoroy codes and then click Select and Close.

  5. From the Employee Type dropdown list, select the desired employee type option.

  6. Enable the following desired options as per your requirement:

    1. Licensed – to ensure that current employee is licensed. (This option is enabled by default once you save the employee.)

    2. Dispatchable – to make current employee available for dispatch. If you have enabled Dispatchable then, in the Max Travel Radius field, enter the distance and units of distance so that the employee can travel within the specified travel radius.

    3. The employee form for which you have enabled ‘Dispatchable’ will display only 4 tabs: ‘My Schedule’, ‘Queues’, ‘Activity’ and ‘Inventory’ else multiple tabs will display.
    4. Acting Supervisor – to make current employee as manager.

    5. System Administrator – to give administrator role to current employee.

    6. Allow Impersonation – to give permission to another employee to perform work on behalf of the current employee.

  7. Click the Employee Site* lookup button to view and select the desired site from the list of internal sites. You can also click Add Site button to create a new employee site for the employee.

  8. Click the Reporting Site* lookup button to view and select the desired site from the list of internal sites. You can also click Add Site button to create a new reporting site for the employeee.

  9. From the Working Hours dropdown list, select the desired working hour type.

  10. From the Security Role dropdown list, select the desired security role to control the access of GoServicePro application for the employee.

  11. Click Save and View to save the employee and view the employee form along with additional details, or click Save and New to save the employee and launch a new employee form to create another employee.
