Activity

The Employee Activity screen is the place where you can perform and view various employee activities like logging activities for desired assigned work order, create new employee, create new password, unlock employee account, close employee account, reopen employee account, add attachment, and order parts. You can see the news feed of all the work orders/ tasks/ sub cases assigned to the employee along with their associated log activities, audit trails, and attachments. Also, you can expand the desired work orders and create log activities, assign work orders using various dispatching tools, configure settings for skills, certifications, preferences etc.

Steps:
Create New Employee

1). Click the New button and the new employee form displays.

2). Enter the appropriate information in all the fields. To know how to create new employee, click here.

Change Password

1). Click Change Password and in the Change Password form, enter the new password and confirm password.

2). If you want the user to change the password at next login, then enable the option: User must change password at next login.

3). Click Save and Close.

Password must have at least 1 uppercase letter,2 lowercase letters,cannot contain employee’s information and should be at least four or more characters long.
Unlock Account
1). Click Unlock Account button and the account will be unlocked.
Close Employee
1). Click Close Employee and the employee account will be inactivated. Once you close an employee, the employee form will display Reopen button so that you can again reopen/activate the employee account as per your requirement.
Reopen Employee
1). Click Reopen button and the employee account will be activated and ready for accessing.
Add Attachment

1). From the Log dropdown list, select Attachment.

2). In the Add Attachment form, attach desired file as per your requirement. To know how to add attachment, click here.

Order Part FE

1). From the Log dropdown list, select Order Part FE.

2). In the Order Part FE form, enter details as per your requirement. To know how to order part, or add/remove a line item click here.

View Activity in News Feed
1). From the Activity dropdown list, select All Selected if you want to view all the activities or select only desired activities that you want to display.
Log Activities in News Feed

1). In the news feed, expand the desired work order by clicking on show more link, for which you want to log activity.

2). On the toolbar, and from the Log dropdown list, select the activity that you want to log.

3). Enter required details and click on Save. Once successfully created, the log activity should now add to the news feed list.
