Move Parts

‘Move Part’ is the moving of asset from one site to another. When you perform ‘Move Part’ transaction on a part, the GoServicePro system internally uninstalls a part from one site, and re-installs the same part in another site. You can also move multiple parts at a time from their respective locations to a particular location.

Steps:

  1. In the Site Assets listing grid, select desired part(s) that you want to move.

    2. You can perform ‘Move Parts’ transaction on multiple parts at a time. For that, select multiple parts that you want to move and then click ‘Move Parts’ button.

  2. On the tool bar, click Move Parts.

  3. In the Move Parts window:

    1. The Assets To Be Moved grid displays the list of all the part(s) you have selected. If you want to export the grid list into an excel sheet and save it locally, click Export to Excel button.

    2. From the Move Assets To Site lookup, select the desired site to which you want to move the selected parts.

    3. Enable Install At Top Level if you want to install the parts directly under site.

    4. From the Install Under lookup, select the desired part so that the selected parts will be installed as child parts under that asset.

    5. On the toolbar, click Save and Close to save the transaction and close the window, or click Cancel to cancel/unsave the transaction.
