Alternates dialog box

Alternates allow you to specify the appropriate replacement parts for a specific part. Alternates are very useful in logistics processing to help personnel find appropriate spare parts to send to customers or technicians.

Steps:
  1. In the Line Items grid list, select the part for which you want to view the associated alternate parts, and then on the toolbar, click Alternates.
  2. The Alternates dialog box displays list of all the alternate parts associated to the selected part.
  3. To replace the selected part with desired alternate part, simply select the alternate part and then click Save.
