Part Transactions
A newly opened part order represents the demand for a part. Your businesses logistics processes will determine how and where the demand for the part will be fulfilled. Powerful search tools allow you to search inventory warehouses, locations, and bins to find the parts you are looking for. A part order can be processed through many states such as reserve, back order, pick, ship, and receive.

Reserving and
Picking
For big warehouses, parts can be reserved. This way if a worker or forklift is on one side of the warehouse and the part he needs is on the other, he can reserve the part before he heads over. This guarantees that the part will be there when he arrives and that no other worker will take it before hand.
Picking lets the the person who ordered the part know that someone has picked the part, and allows the picker to keep track of where in the process he is.
Shipping and
Receiving
Shipping tells us that the part is on its way to the tech or location. This is logged by the warehouse worker once they hand the part off. Shipping slips are able to printed off directly from inside of GoServicePro.
Receiving is done by the field tech. This completes the transaction, changing the status of the Part Order.
