Availability Matrix

Based on the availability of field techs, available times are given. The best field tech available during the selected time slot is given the job. In other words, the technician is chosen automatically, but you choose the time they arrive.

Steps:

  1. From the Search Resources menu, select Availability Matrix.

  2. In the Availability Matrix dialog box, click Settings if you want to edit Work Order Settings.

  3. From the Time Slot dropdown menu, select the desired time slot group in which you want the dispatching software to automatically choose the field tech.

  4. From the Days to Search dropdown menu, select the desired option so that the dispatching software can automatically choose the field tech whose availability is within the selected number of days.

  5. On the toolbar, click Run Analysis. The Availability Matrix displays the number of available field techs in the selected time slot group within the selected time range. You can hover the mouse on the results to view the field techs and their respective score details.

  6. Click the desired result so that the Availability Matrix automatically assigns the work order to the first field tech from the list of available field techs.

  7. In the conformation message box, click OK. Success message appears. Click Close.
