Manual Lookup

The Manual Lookup is a dispatching tool that gives you a list of all the field techs (only dispatchable employees) from the complete business unit and then lets you choose the desired FE to whom you want to assign the work order.

The ‘Manual Lookup’ form displays current work order details, assigned FE (if any), site location (in map view), and scheduler along with scheduled timings (if any) in Day/Week/Month view. The map displays site location for unassigned work orders and route (distance between FE and site) for assigned work orders. From here, you can edit work order settings, and also unschedule and reschedule current work order.

Steps:
  1. Open the work order that you want to dispatch manually.

  2. From the Search Resources dropdown menu, click Manual Lookup.

  3. In the Manual Lookup form, if current work order is assigned then, the Resource field displays the assigned FE and the scheduler displays the work order details along with scheduled time. On the other hand, if current work order is unassigned, then the field remains empty.

  4. If required, you can unschedule current work order and manually assign it to another FE. Once you unschedule, the Resource field will display empty.

  5. Before you schedule the work order to desired FE, ensure that Late Work Start is not in the past.
  6. Search for the desired FE to whom you want to assign current work order by using advanced field search.As a more user-friendly filter field column, when you search for a specific term by entering 4 letters or more, the grid lists the results that match the term.

  7. In the scheduler section, select the desired time at which you want to schedule current work order.

  8. On the tab bar, click Save.
