Parts – Price Book

Parts are grouped into catalogs and individual billing rules can be established for each catalog. This helps group together billable and non-billable parts. Each part catalog may also have a surcharge or discount factor applied.

Steps:

  1. In the Price Book form and in the left panel, select the desired price book to which you want to add part catalog.

  2. In the right panel, click Parts tab. You can see the list of all the part catalogs associated to the respective price book.

  3. To Associate Part Catalog to Price Book:

    1. On the toolbar, click Add New button.

    2. In the snippet, and from the All Catalog* dropdown list, select desired part catalog that you want to associate to Price Book.

    3. In the From $ and To $ fields, enter the desired price range so that the part price will be calculated accordingly at the time of billing.

    4. From the Billed As dropdown list, select the desired billing type so that the price will be calculated accordingly at the time of billing .

    5. In the Markup %, enter the value in percentage so that the markup % will be calculated and added at the time of billing.

    6. Click Save.

  4. To Edit Part Catalog Associated to Price Book:

    1. From the Part Catalog-listing grid, click the Edit button beside the desired part catalog that you want to edit.

    2. In the Part Catalog snippet, edit the desired details and then click Save.

  5. To dissociate Part Catalog from Price Book:

    1. From the Part Catalog-listing grid, select the desired part catalog that you want to delete and then, on the toolbar, click Delete
