Slack Settings

Slack Settings are used to apply a Work Order Template and slack time to Work Orders based on the Category codes chosen during the Case creation process. At least one Slack setting must exist in order to create Work Orders.

Steps:
  1. To navigate to Slack Settings, on the left pane menu, click Settings and then under Dispatch Settings, click Slack.

  2. To export the listing grid display results, click Export to Excel button and then save the Excel file to desired location.

  3. To filter the search results, in the search bar, type the keyword and then click Search button.

  4. To clear the filter results/search results, beside Search field, click Clear button.

  5. To create a new filter:

    1. In the Search bar, type the keyword to display search results in the listing grid.

    2. Click Filter button and then in the dropdown menu, Click New Filter button.

    3. In the text field, enter the filter name and then click Save Filter.

  6. To delete existing filter:

    1. Click Filter button and then from the dropdown menu, select the filter that you want to delete.

    2. Click Delete Filter button.

  7. To Create New Slack Setting:

    1. On the toolbar, click Add New button.

    2. In the snippet, and in the Slack Setting Name* field, enter the slack setting name.

    3. To make current slack setting as default, enable Default.

    4. To activate the slack setting, enable Active so that the slack setting will be ready for use.

    5. From the Category 1* and Category 2 dropdown lists, select desired category codes.

    6. From the Case Priority and Case Severity dropdown lists, select desired priority and severity levels respectively.

    7. In the Slack Time (min) and Round Off Time (min) fields, enter the desired slack time and round off time in minutes respectively.

    8. From the Team dropdown list, select desired team to which you want to associate current slack setting.

    9. In the Work Order Color color box, select the desired color so that the setting will be applied when a work order is created using current slack setting.

    10. From the Work Order Template, Service Offering and Scenario lookup dropdown lists, select the desired work order template, service offering program and scenario that you want to associate to current slack setting respectively.

    11. In the SLA Advance time field, enter the desired timing so that the notification will be displayed as per the specified time in advance.

    12. From the SLA Availability dropdown list, select desired availability value so that the setting will be applied accordingly when a work order is created using current slack setting.

    13. Click Save.

  8. To Edit Existing Slack Setting:

    1. In the Slack Settings listing grid, click Edit button beside the desired slack setting that you want to edit.

    2. In the snippet, edit desired data and then click Save.

  9. To Delete Existing Slack Setting:

    1. In the Slack Settings listing grid, select the desired slack setting that you want to delete on then on the toolbar, click Delete. As an alternative, you can also click on the context menu button and then click Delete Slack Settings.
